The Dal Lake is undoubtedly the most popular attraction in Srinagar. The presence of numerous beautiful houseboats has made the city earn its moniker ‘Venice of the East.’ The Mughal Gardens, Chashma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh and many such marvels, boast of stunning Persian architecture. The city also houses ancient religious places, such as Hazratbal Shrine, Jamia Masjid, Shankaracharya Temple and Kheer Bhawani Temple. A perfect way to conclude your visit would be to indulge in shopping at one of the numerous markets in Srinagar such as Lal Chowk, Residency Road, Polo View, Badshah Chowk and many more.

Srinagar
Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Situated in the Kashmir Valley, it lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. The city is famous for its gardens, lakes, houseboats, dry fruits and especially for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. Srinagar has been called the “Venice of the East”.

Pahalgam
Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Pahalgam was once a tourist attraction and a favourite place for shooting of Bollywood films, and is still a health resort. The area holds a rich cover of vegetation, the dominant forest consisting of conifers.

Gulmarg
Gulmarg, also known as heartland of winter sports in India has been rated by CNN International as Asia’s seventh best ski destination. In the winter, the diverse and extreme terrain combines with torrential snowfall to create a snow destination, the best in the world.

As picturesque as the most stunning painting to ever be painted, Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, lies on the banks of the Jhelum river, and has a cool, pleasant climate all year round, contributing to the perpetual influx of tourists visiting this city which offers a plethora of gorgeous scenic vistas.

From the ferocious waters of Pahalgam to the serene pastures of Gulmarg, everything about Srinagar will give you goosebumps, no matter where you’re looking at. Once you visit Srinagar, the first thing you do is close your eyes and breathe in lungfuls of the clean, fresh mountain air. The second thing you do is hire a houseboat and pay a visit to Dal Lake. Hills surround the most famous tourist spot in all of Kashmir, Dal Lake, and as long as your sight takes you, you can see the mountains reflected in the water. Taking a Shikara ride on Dal Lake is also a must-do activity. Bedecked with colourful rugs and carpets, these gondola-type rowboats take tourists to see attractions like the Floating Vegetable Market, and the Mir Bahris – a lively community of people who live on the lake itself. You can also spend a night in one of the houseboats, and wake up to a magnificent sunrise that will take your breath away. Dal Lake also offers water sports such as kayaking and skiing, for those interested.

SRINAGAR

Our services start with your arrival at Srinagar airport. Meet & greet and transfer by to House Boat. Welcome drink on arrival. After noon visit the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of pleasure) Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love).In the Evening Enjoy a Shikara Ride in famous Dal Lake. Dinner and Overnight in the House Boat/hotel.

SRINAGAR-SONMARG-SRINAGAR (98 KMS ONE SIDE)

After breakfast full day excursion of Sonamarg which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg is at 98kms from Srinagar. We will take about 3 hours to reach Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonamarg is absolutely true to its name, which means ‘Meadow of Gold’. The moment you enter Sonamarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonamarg has few of the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Return to Srinagar House Boat/hotel by the evening for overnight stay.

SRINAGAR – GULMARG (52 KMS)

After breakfast we check out of the hotel in Srinagar and proceed to Gulmarg .On arrival check in to the hotel. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia’s highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

GULMARG / PAHALGAM (142 KMS)

After breakfast we check out of the hotel in Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam. On arrival check in to the hotel. Arguably Pahalgam is one of the most beautiful places on earth; the town of Pahalgam (Village of Shepherds) offers breathtaking views of Himalayas. On arrival we check in to the hotel. After reaching Pahalgam we have rest of the day free for individual activities. Stay overnight at hotel.

PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR AIRPORT

After breakfast time free till departure. Transfer by car to Srinagar airport for departure to next destination.
