10 signs you are addicted to travel http://rangcoloursofindia.com/10-signs-you-are-addicted-to-travel/ http://rangcoloursofindia.com/10-signs-you-are-addicted-to-travel/#respond Wed, 06 Mar 2019 12:41:54 +0000 http://rangcoloursofindia.com/?p=3113 Travel is a bit like a drug. Once you start, it can be difficult to stop, and the more you do it, the more you want to keep doing it. Go without it for a long time, and you will start feeling like you are missing some big thing in your life. You always seek to plan a trip to a new destination. Recalling the memories of the last vacation makes you nostalgic.

Everyone likes to go to a new place for their vacations. But what happens if that vacation is all that comes to your mind when you think of anything else. Yeah, it feels like you are missing something, right! Or you have got some addiction on your last trip. Don’t worry, this addiction is not bad at all, this is the addiction to travel!!

People from all over the world love to travel to new undiscovered destinations to satisfy their peace of mind. These people are more likely backpacker travelers who love to visit new places & discover all the hidden beauty of the world. Do you feel the same when it comes to discovering a new place? Are you also a traveler who got stuck in the ordinary rat race like others? Got confused?!

Well, we will share some signs of a travel addict and you can easily justify yourself if you are one of them or not.

1. Experience the pureness of nature:

You like to speak and learn new languages of the places where you like to travel in the coming future. You can easily speak “hi” and “thank you” in multiple languages. And have good command on at least 3 languages.

2. Getting to know another culture has become your main hobby

You spend most of your time reading travel blogs and surfing travel websites. You like to know more about the cultures and traditions of the other regions. And love to be a part of their traditions and customs. You love to try the dishes.

3. Daydreaming consists solely of places on your travel wish list.

When it comes to daydreaming, the only thing that comes to your mind is just the next trip. You decide what you will be doing, what stuff you will be carrying with yourself and the most important with whom you will be traveling. All these thoughts make you occupied the whole day, and you end in going for a trip.
Daydreaming is a common thing. You always think about the traveling so your mind brings out of some creative elements through your imagery related to travel. So allow yourself to do imagination related to travel, and try to complete your goal.

4. Your savings are a travel fund

If I tell myself, If possible, I would like to travel around the world. Only travel fund is the main problem for any hiker, I know, it is a problem, but it is not a critical puzzle. If I save some part of the money for my world tour from my regular earning, so I can collect fund easily for my world tour trip. Savings are not difficult to travel for the world tour.

5. Packing a suitcase takes you less than 10 minutes. No messing around.

Whenever people have to go to on a tour so firstly they pack there bag but somebody asks to me for a tour, so I will take one pair of my clothes in hand, I will not waste my time for searching any begging. After that, I will carry my wallet and my mobile phone with their charger & headphones.
If you love to travel, and suddenly you have to go on a tour of your favorite place and someone told you, you have only 10 minutes to pack your suitcase. How much time you can pack your suitcase? Do tell in comments.

6. Your browser history is just travel research.

If your browser history is full of ‘search tourist places’, so that means you have gone crazy to travel. And you are spending most of your time on searching places for your next tour on Google, where you can go and spend some time at the beautiful places. Sometimes you would like to go to the hill station and other time you might wish to visit some desert area.

7. You feel most relaxed on the road

If you are thinking to go on a roadside trip, so I would like to suggest you go to an adventure place. If I were at your place, so I would like to prefer to go to a hill station. Hill areas road is the best for relaxed on the road. Because there you found fresh air, pleasant weather, and the cold night for a great roadside adventure with taking tea on a roadside tea stall.

8. You don’t make to-do lists; you make to-do lists. (Your travel bucket-list is more of a bucket-book)

Usually, a normal person thinks of planning a daily schedule to make the day spend well. On the other hand, instead of making the to-do list, you make a to-do list. In which you plan where you will be going on your next trip. This helps you a lot in choosing the next destination trip.

9. Unpacking isn’t even in your vocabulary – you’re a backpack kinda person.

Travelers always have been active to go on a new place/trip, they never feel tired. Every traveler has a great passion to go anywhere. Travelers always try to find a new place for their new trip. As they find a good place so then they start their packing for a new tour.

10. Sleep is no problem for you – no matter where in the world you’re staying,

Just feel, you are going on a trip, for any reason you have to stay in a deserted place. So have you adjust you yourself to sleep there, doesn’t matter, you are staying in the corner of the world. You are on any forest hill station.

Travel is one of the best medicine to be happy and healthy for everyone. Everybody likes to tour, and considered to be a tour is the world biggest library, if you are going on a tour in a year so that means you always feel happy and active, if you are living/feeling in and stress/depression, so that means you have to go on a trip.

Andaman and Nicobar Island – An Ultimate Backpacker Destination http://rangcoloursofindia.com/andaman-and-nicobar-island-an-ultimate-backpacker-destination/ http://rangcoloursofindia.com/andaman-and-nicobar-island-an-ultimate-backpacker-destination/#comments Fri, 11 Jan 2019 06:40:56 +0000 http://rangcoloursofindia.com/?p=2916

Our visit to far-flung of India’s string of pearls was in February 2018. This archipelago lying over a thousand kilometers of Bay of Bengals, Andaman and Nicobar Island is an ultimate backpacker, we had wonderful experience over here. Once you reach here, the first thing you will see is the much fresher and greener fragrance that gives you great pleasure. We were soon escorted to our hotel, Langkawi, from the airport by car. When we reached our hotel, we met our guide, who helped us with our check-in, and also told us that we would be lead by two more couples and one family for the rest of the tour. He asked us to be at the reception in half an hour, so we could head to ROSS AND SMITH ISLAND BEACH. This beach is very popular and has got its name because of the natural sand bar which joins these two islands. Surrounded by palm trees these islands are truly beautiful and give a scenic view of the blue-green sea.

The Andaman and Nicobar islands have a tropical rainforest enfold, made of mixed plants with elements from India. Which give you immense happiness. This is the most superior place to be explored. It is developing into major tourism hub with exotic beaches and flawless islands, there are many places to visit like Cellular Jail, Andaman Water Sports Complex, Mini Zoo, Wandoor Beach, Forest Beach, Ross Island, and North Bay Island and many more. Believe me, all these places are delightful to be explored, we enjoyed a lot there on our last trip.

The resort beach was sun-rise facing, so both of us made an efforts to get up early in the morning around 5:00 am to see the sun rising over the horizon, we lay down in the cabin provided near the beach and waited calmly. Before the sunrise, around 5:20 am, we unspectacularly saw the horizon change color and few fishermen’s boats bounce up and down in the distant sea, at around 5:50 am we finally saw the sunrise, it was a pageant sight and made us forget about the unpleasant experience of waking up early and then we came back to our room.

Then we get ready for our other destination which is Guitar Island Beach, if you are amazed about the name, then you have guessed it right. This Island is in the shape of the guitar, we were deadly excited to visit this Island as we are a huge lover of guitar and you won’t believe we felt ourselves in another world because of the calm aura surrounded by palm trees sets up for a perfect scenic evening view. We had lots of amazing moments there took amazing selfies and after enjoying full day over here we left to our hotels to relax. Definitely, each and every place here is an epic experience which makes Andaman and Nicobar Island an ultimate backpacker destination. You gonna lost in the adorable environment of here.

Next day we were planned for Vijaynagar Beach as before our tour we surf on the internet about Vijaynagar Beach the locality made us insane about its beauty and terrific scenic view. The peacefulness and comfort which is magnificent in essence. This beach is perfect for the nature lover, the shallow waters are liable for those who want to immerse in the ocean when you see a deep sky blue color of the ocean like us you will also fall in love with it. The grace and wilderness of Mahua trees on the edge of seashore provide a classic view.

And lastly, at the end of our tour, we went to Port Blair’s main tourist attraction the Cellular jail, without any doubt this structure is one of the most historically noticeable buildings in India, the light show in the evening was a reminder of disciplinary past. After the show, we came back to our hotel and wind up our last night in Andaman and Nicobar Island with some cocktails and dinner. And in the morning we headed towards the airport on our way back home.

We explored a few of India’s most adorable beaches in Andaman and Nicobar Island. If you are looking for a holiday destination award to exotic locations, glorious beaches with a vast range of flawless Silver Sands, that has the power to refresh your soul and mind, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands an ultimate backpacker destination.

So, guys, We hope you like it, if yes!! then don’t forget to watch our youtube video on this blog and don’t forget to subscribe and share as well.

10 Tips for taking Amazing Travel Photos http://rangcoloursofindia.com/10-tips-for-taking-amazing-travel-photos/ http://rangcoloursofindia.com/10-tips-for-taking-amazing-travel-photos/#comments Wed, 31 Oct 2018 08:13:32 +0000 http://rangcoloursofindia.com/?p=2121 Are you a Travel Freak who loves to travel and click a lot of pictures? If you are photography enthusiast then this blog is definitely for you. Everyone one loves to capture that lovely moment when they are at the climax of there travel.
Just imagine, you have reached the peak of the mountain for which you were trekking for last 2 days and finally have reached the top. So after taking a deep breath and feeling the nature’s beauty don’t you want to share the same experience with your loved ones. And you do that by clicking it in your mobile phone or DSLR. Those aren’t just pictures those are memories that you have captured for your lifetime.
But won’t it be more interesting if you know how to click the pictures like a professional? So hold on, I’m going to tell you 10 tips for taking Amazing Travel Photos.

  1. Envision, Plan, then Create

  2. First, think about the image which you want to capture. Just taking out the camera doesn’t make you ready for the shoot. You should first plan that how will you take the image, at what time of the day, in what lighting, at what angle and which lens will you use etc. The excellent pictures really need some planning. Everytime you click a photo, try to make it your own, whether it be some different location or the weather is not up to the mark, try to give it a personal touch.

  3. Place the Subject on the Edge

  4. The best photos are the ones which look completely natural and has got the essence of nature. The other should feel what the image want to say at all. It’s a good thought to place the subject in the centre. But while capturing the travel photograph it’s not at all wrong that you keep the subject aside and also focus on the background(the beauty of nature).

  5. Use the Light

  6. Before clicking a photo don’t forget to check the direction of the light. It may be creating some interesting highlights or some compelling shadows. The light may be coming from the sun or it’s your artificial light. Place your subject at the position where you can get the best shot from the light. You can easily utilize the light in to make your ordinary image to extraordinary.

  7. Perfection in Persistence

  8. If you want the perfect shot you should not just wait for the perfect moment to capture the shot. Sometimes, you have to keep taking the shots from different angles, different settings. Till you find the best shot which you were looking for. BUT make sure you are carrying in a large capacity memory card unless your memories will get uncaptured.
It’s not a new thing to do, even most of the professional photographers also do this. After clicking the images, you get a variety of images to choose from. In some of them, you may like the lighting, some may be having the most suitable angle and many more. Later you can choose the best one which completely suits your needs.

  9. Get OFF AUTO

  10. You don’t need to be afraid of the Manual Mode. You may feel you can’t get the perfect setting there while doing it manually. But trust me with some trial and errors you will learn to take the perfect shot soon. In the manual mode one basically needs to have a basic knowledge about the Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. By having such knowledge, it would be easier for you to adjust the setting. But keep in mind you can’t use the same setting for all your pictures. You need to change it according to the lighting, distance from the subject and many other major reasons.

  11. Shutter Speed

  12. Being aware of the Shutter Speed means that how you want your picture to look like a blurry or a sharp one. It all depends on your need. If you are shooting a race of the athletes or the children playing in the park. Then you may need to get the sharp images to capture the details of the moment. To capture those fast actions you will need to use the shutter speed over 1/500th of a second or even lower like 1/1000th to 1/2000th in DSLR.
On the other hand, if you want that your picture should have part of the subject running behind it then you can set the shutter speed to 1 sec. or even 10 sec. or longer. This is better in the images when you want the subject to look like it is still in motion.

  13. Aperture

  14. Aperture is a hole in the lens which controls how much light will go through the sensor. It is simply represented by a focal length ratio, therefore f/8 is smaller than f/2. If the aperture is large then it will allow more light to go through it.
Other than this, aperture also controls the depth of the field, which determines how much of the images are in focus. This effect is only noticeable in the cameras with larger sensors.

  15. ISO (Is the Sun Out?)

  16. There is always a question which you should ask yourself while using ISO:
What time of the day you are shooting? If you are shooting in the daytime then you will need to use lower ISO such as 100 or 200. And when you are shooting in the night without the tripod stand then you should need to use a higher ISO to record more light on the camera sensor.
Is your subject getting enough lighting? If your subject is placed in a dark scene then you will need to use a higher ISO such as 800 or 1600.
Don’t Forget increasing the ISO also increases the size of the pixels making it look noisy.

  17. It’s Not Cheating to use Photoshop

  18. Photography is not a news, its an art. So you can change it according to your need. And changing it also help you to add some details which you may miss while in the actual shot. Sometimes you may need to add some brightness, blur the edges, or increase the saturation to get the perfect image. And for this, Photoshop is the best tool in the market. But after editing the photos don’t start announcing that it’s the actual photo which you captured. Or may get caught if its seen by an expert or you are not yourself an expert.

  19. Never Stop Shooting

  20. The best way to learn photography is by never stop shooting. Carry the camera bag with you where ever possible. And take every shot which you think should need to be captured. By the time of a lot of practice, you will surely get expert in it. And soon you will understand your style and your “voice” will start emerging in your photos and speak for themselves. And it will surely be more authentic when it does.

So guys if you learned something today, so don’t forget to share it with your friends and give your feedback below in the comments.

A Spiritual Heaven-Dev Diwali, Varanasi http://rangcoloursofindia.com/a-spiritual-heaven-dev-diwali-varanasi/ http://rangcoloursofindia.com/a-spiritual-heaven-dev-diwali-varanasi/#comments Fri, 28 Sep 2018 10:28:43 +0000 http://rangcoloursofindia.com/?p=1238 The beautiful land of Shiva aka Varanasi is famous for its stunning temples. With a very long spiritual legacy of 3000 years, Varanasi is one of the important pilgrimage centres of India. Varanasi includes 87 enchanting Ghats situated around 7km long and calming Ganga. The holy river welcomes people from all around the world. Dev Diwali is one of the grand events in Varanasi.

Varanasi is the only place in e world where Diwali is celebrated twice. In Varanasi, Dev Diwali is celebrated 15 days after the night of ‘Kaartik Purnima’ . Every temple is covered in twinkling lights and beautiful flowers. The serene water of Ganga reflects the lights and the holy water comes to life. Ghats are decorated with diyas maintaining the 25 years old tradition.

A huge crowd of devotees from all around the world come for ‘Ganga snaan’. Millions of diyas are lit up from Ravidas ghat to Rajghat. Twinkling lights and diyas are a stunning sight to everybody and attracts a huge amount of people.

The number of devotees and diyas both are countless but who cares about the numbers when you are in a spiritual heaven. The soul enlightening views and ‘vidhis’ is just the beginning. Musical programs are conducted to welcome the large crowds. Whether it’s beautiful views, spiritually awakening vibes, music or boat rides Varanasi has a lot to offer basically, Varanasi has something for everyone.

The smell of burnt firewood and fragrance of incense fills up the crowded streets of Varanasi. The beautiful architectural designs of old temples can’t be ignored when one visits the sacred city. The houses are lit up with oil lamps, lights and Dias on front doors.

Between all this, devotees take processions of decorated deities on the streets; everybody comes around to take blessings from the deities. Nagadas and Dhols are played to utter joy; people living around express their happiness by dancing on the beats of traditional music. Oil lamps and Dias are set afloat on the holy river. The sky looks angelic with floating lamps.

Nearly 100,000 pilgrims visit the riverfront to watch the magic of twinkles spread all over the river. The aarti is performed by 21 young Brahmin priests and 24 young women. Martyrs are also remembered at the Ghats by worshipping Ganga and lightning lamps while watching the aarti. It is quite evident that Dev Diwali plays various roles besides only the religious ones.

Dev Diwali is barely a 25-year-old tradition in Varanasi but now, one cannot imagine Varanasi without it. A festival full of lights, hymns, bhajans and bliss is nothing but a spiritual heaven.
